Position
: Chief Technology Officer (Barcelona/Marrakech)
The Chief
Technology Officer based in Barcelona (Spain), reports to the CEO and is a
member of the Company’s executive team.
His role will be to :
- Define, present and execute the Company technology strategy
- Ensure quality of technology developments & documentations as well as
compliance to company functional requirements and agreed processes (time and
budget).
- Manages the technology development team, 9 persons based in Marrakech
- Leads the upgrade of the existing PHP/Mysql platform to support the rapid
company growth (1 to 10 million unique visitors monthly within 2 years)
- Leads technology partnerships, and external IT relationships: hosted
services, telecom (VOIP), CRM software, LAN, third parties interfaces
Requirements
- 7+ years experience with a minimum of 2
years in an e-commerce company with similar responsibilities and an
international exposure
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the
online technology stake.
- Management experience of 10+ people
development team
- Software development and methodology
skills in Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL & Java.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, high
energy, and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and French (working
with Moroccan development team)
